Department of Admission and Registration

( Students Affairs):

  • Supervising the auditing of differentiation requests, counting them daily and sending them to the university administration.
  • Receiving, studying and answering written objections from students to the comparison results.
  • Implementation of the content of Higher Education Council Decision No. 167 of 2016, which includes admission rates, admission rules, transfer, similar transfer, and change of enrollment in private universities and its amendments.
  • Implementing the contents of relevant Higher Education Council decisions.
  • Supervising the registration of new students and recording their data in the records and on the computer.
  • Receiving and checking old student registration requests and receipts from colleges.
  • Supervising and checking the evidence of students' acceptance and transfer from other public and private universities.
  • Supervising the implementation of the contents of the decisions of the Council of Higher Education, the University Council, and the Disciplinary and Grievance Committee, and recording them in official records.
  • Supervising the auditing of graduate students' records with the graduation decisions issued by the university.
  • Supervising and preparing university certificates and graduation documents.
  • Supervising the verification of the original documents of the secondary certificate for new students and the non-Syrian certificate and sending them to the concerned authorities for equivalence.

Examinations:

  • Preparing examination publication forms, following up on their printing, and supervising their distribution to the university faculties.
  • Organizing, checking and marking lists of marks.
  • Implementing the content of Higher Education Council Resolution No. 21 of 2014 and its amendments, which includes the examination and evaluation system in private universities.
  • Implementing the contents of the decisions of the Higher Education and Private Education Council, the University Council, and the Disciplinary Committee, and writing them down in the official records.
  • Preparing a detailed study on the number of students applying for exams in each course and the number of exam halls needed to accommodate them in each exam session.
